Our objective was to investigate and evaluate important questions about tradition, modernism, and globalization in Asian architectural environments. We improved our understanding through our discussions. A research poster and an oral presentation were included in the final deliverables to present our findings.

Engaging in the research project on "Preserving Cultural Spaces: Sustainable Architecture & Cultural Consciousness" and exploring the Sin Sze Si Ya Temple in Kuala Lumpur was a profound experience. This study deepened my understanding of the temple's cultural significance and highlighted the importance of sustainable preservation practices for safeguarding our heritage. Recognizing the temple's historical and architectural importance, it is crucial to approach its preservation with a conscious and sustainable mindset.

To ensure the temple's heritage remains intact, integrating eco-friendly practices is essential. Collaboration between experts, cultural organizations, and architectural professionals can contribute expertise in sustainable design and construction. Implementing environmentally friendly techniques, such as energy-efficient systems and materials, enables the temple to harmoniously coexist with its surroundings while reducing its ecological impact.
