After 14 weeks of lectures and tutorials in the Design Communication module, I can feel that my drawing and other skills have improved significantly compared to before as I've started to have the courage to learn new things and methods to improve them. At the beginning of this semester, I always thought that my drawing skills weren't that good and that I didn't know how to colour either. It means a lot to me whether it is done manually or digitally because I haven't touched drawings much since I was a child. I am also very appreciative of my instructor and Dr. Lia, the coordinator of our module. She is a really considerate and supportive teacher since every time I approach her on Telegram, she responds and offers me advice on how to better my project or directs me in tutorial session.

Lifelong Learning is the first TGC I've learned throughout this entire semester. I choose this TGC because I will learn a lot from it, including how to sketch, draw, colour, hatch, use AutoCAD, and many other things. I now have a better understanding of my own strengths and weaknesses in terms of my skills thanks to everything I have learned over the course of this semester.I'm relieved that I overcame my fear of self-improvement because this represents a significant step in my learning. I used to believe that drawing was much more difficult than it actually was, but now I realise that I was mistaken. I believe that if you never try to learn or get better, you will never understand how difficult something was.

The second TGC that I chose was Discipline Specific Knowledge because anytime I look at online tips for improving drawings, colouring, or hatching, I often ask myself if I should use such tips to my assignments so that I may advance in the right direction. Additionally, I make sure the topics I investigate are simple to understand because I am not yet an expert in this subject. As a result, I need to make sure the videos I find are appropriate for my present skill level in order to avoid being discouraged and developing a negative outlook.

I chose Thinking & Problem Solving Skills for the final TGC because I constantly run into difficulties or issues when I begin working on my tasks. As a result, I constantly have to come up with solutions to problems relating to my abilities or the challenges associated with using digital tools. I am glad that I am facing these problems now because, no matter what, I always find the best solution to solve my own problems during the semester. I always tell myself that, the earlier you face the problems, the more you will learn and the less panic you will feel when you face the same problems again.

Finally, I would like to express my gratitude for this programme because I have learned so much from it. In addition, I think the platform our lecture uses to keep us updated on schedule changes and other vital information is excellent because it prevents me from worrying about missing anything. These platforms include Facebook and Telegram.
