final PROJECT
Designing with Architectural Principles + Materiality + Context + User: THE TROPICAL SANCTUARY
In this project, we were tasked with creating a tropical haven at a predetermined location, the Taman Botani Shah Alam. After our site visit, we were divided into a macro group and given the task of collecting site data in order to better understand our site. The next step is to divide into micro-groups of five, choose six microsites with lake views, and develop a design response vignette matrix for each group. The next step is a workshop where we each have to select a microsite and create multiple site use options for the microsite.

LIFELONG LEARNING
This TGC came to mind because, even though it may not be as good as other people's, I have learned how to organise the information on my presentation board and the narrative that I wanted to share with others as well as drawings. I am happy about this because it means that, in the future, I will be able to master it and be better than I am now.
DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
My research on the precedent study in architecture taught me a lot about materials, architectural principles, light and shadow, and other things. This has changed the way I design and consider how all of the information I've been studying may enhance my space and senses.
thinking & problem solving skills
I encountered many difficulties when designing my building based on the site, but somehow, using the data from my case study, I gradually came to a decision about my final design and my concept, and things proceeded smoothly from there.
